It’s nearly June in Phuket and “Happy Hour Radio” is here.

Phuket Island radio are delighted and very excited to announce their music and entertainment is now available on 91.5FM and 102.5FM. Not one frequency but two.

The oldest English Language Radio Station in Phuket is now available on 91.5FM and 102.5FM throughout Phuket, a happy hour radio format if there ever was one and of course the online presence of Phuket Island radio continues to grow:

via our state of the art global streaming servers
through various mobile apps such as Google Play and Iphone
and radio portals like Tunein with over 10,000 listeners.

The addition of the 102.5 FM frequency will mean much better coverage especially in the South and South West of Phuket, say hello to 102.5 FM Chalong, Rawai, Nai Harn, Kata Noi and Kata.

This is a most exciting time for our company said Kanyarat Jones the Director at the station, we have received so much support and good wishes from the community and our friends it is all a little overwhelming.

Over the coming weeks we will be focusing our engineering attention on the North West of Phuket, Surin, Bang Tao and Laguna areas with the goal of making our 91.5FM broadcast reach in this area much better ultimately the best coverage from an English language radio station in Phuket.

Phuket Island Radio will continue with it’s original strategy of providing Positive Phuket Promotion, daytime music that fits our main demographic, with a tag line of “Better Music Less Chat”.

Recently appointed Sales and Marketing Manager Jay Grand is also very pleased as he can now focus his efforts on the clients and supporters marketing plans and looks forward to the coming few months where a number of additional staff will join the team.
