Armin van Buuren kicked off A State Of Trance back in 2001, where he gained a lot of attention from all the trance enthusiasts from across the globe, which rocketed him up to where he stands on that DJ magazine list today! Keeping the trance scene fresh with weekly submissions from aspiring artists worldwide, hand selected by Armin himself, not only creating opportunities but adds a unique flavour to the sets, keeping the movement steady as we come back every week to see what epic journey awaits us this time around!
True to the scene
Over the years, A State of Trance Armin van Buuren has built a record label at the forefront of trance, which guarantees classics and future trance hits from great producers near and far, as well as it being the residing place for all the work by the founder himself. This is your go-to destination for all the best trance and all your favourite tracks from Armin van Buuren. Before Armind, Armin used to DJ at a club in Leiden running by the name of Nexus, this is where he trained his endurance for long DJ sets, which typically ran for 6 to 7 hours long, that’s what I would call a DJ marathon set. Crikey! And I’m not even Australian. During this time around 1995, he produced his first major release titled Blue Fear via Cyber Records at only 19 years of age and it made it onto the UK Charts. 4 years later, he made his next hit titled Communication and this was big tune in Ibiza 1999, which lead to it entering the UK chart at number 18. Dare I say crikey again? I won’t but, I want to Really badly!
