Vegetarian Festival in Phuket has started
Phuket on Friday, whilst the Official Start of the Vegetarian Festival in Phuket is the 1st of October this year, preparations started on Friday evening with the traditional raising of the lanterns and the long bamboo pole known in Thai as “Sao Ko Teng”.

Saturday at the Phuket Vegetarian Festival
The official start of The Phuket Vegetarian Festival was today, Saturday the 1st of October. Over the next nine days, there will be many parades and ceremonies. On Saturday many Phuket people gathered at the various temples and taking food that has been prepared. There is a lot of organisation and many trucks delivering supplies.
