A-ha

Its been 30 years since A-ha scored their debut worldwide hit with the song Take On Me, and they are still going strong.

After a five year break, they return with their tenth studio album which we hear about in this week’s edition of Top of the Pops.

A-ha are back

In 2015, it was announced that a-ha would reunite for two years. Their tenth studio album, Cast in Steel, was released on 4 September 2015.

A world tour in support of the album is planned

Also on the show, we feature tracks from the latest albums by rockers Five Finger Death Punch, Scottish indie band The View, South African star Troye Sivan and British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden.

A-ha (stylized a-ha; is a Norwegian band formed in Oslo in 1982. The band was founded by Morten Harket (vocals), Magne Furuholmen (keyboards) and Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (guitars).

The group initially rose to fame during the mid-1980s after being discovered by musician and producer John Ratcliff and had continued global success in the 1990s and 2000s.
